Convicted murderer Scott Peterson is back in the news again. Peterson, was convicted in 2004 of murdering his wife, Lacey Peterson and his unborn child in 2002. Scott Peterson is currently sitting on California’s death row awaiting the death penalty.

Now, the parents of Lacey Peterson have filed multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuit against Scott because of the death. According to the lawyers who are talking about the case, the sole purpose of the case is to make sure that Scott Peterson won’t ever be able to make any money by writing a book or movie about the case.

I’m sure that while they believe they are doing the right thing, Lacey Petersons parents are going to cost the taxpayers of California hundreds of thousands of dollars, not to mention the thousands of dollars that they will be paying their wrongful death lawyer.

There are a lot of wrongful death lawyers around the country who make a living by helping people who have lost a loved one by the actions of others. It was a wrongul death lawyer that was involved in the O.J. Simpson lawsuit that cost him everything he had. Even though O.J. Was declared innocent by a jury of killing his wife and her boyfriend, the jury was convinced by the families wrongful death attorney that he was guilty and it cost him everything he had.

Will that be what happens to Scott Peterson? The wrongful death attorney in this case has a much easier case to prove, since Scott Peterson has already been found guilty of the murders. It’s going to be interesting to follow the case and see what the wrongful death attorney’s on each side do.
